What makes you think this? Balthier is way in the past now, from a rather lukewarm entry in the series, Lightning is disliked. Noctis is actually liked, his problem vs. Lightning is merely that his game hasn't been played by as many people... checks XV's sales are actually higher than XIII's and already close to VIII's...
