Noctis does not have the immortality of Cloud or even Tidus (given how the laugh scene got meme'd). He's too new of a character to have the strength of nostalgia. Master Hand has been present since the 90s. A lot of voters will have memories of the first time they defeated him, whether that be in SSB or Melee or even Brawl. I think Noctis is in trouble against Master Hand. That match is a tossup. And if he survives that, he has Wario or a rally to handle. He was a fan favorite from a disappointing recent FF title but people still expected him to be strong since it was still a mainstream FF, but then the guy chokes to Ada Wong. Noctis is pretty much in the same predicament, even though FFXV is more well received it's also a newer game but it's not fresh on everyone's mind anymore either so he's probably got Lightning-ish relapse now. --- https://imgur.com/6AevF0Y LOL!!!!
