For the record, without going into the specifics too much, the story of the song is that the protagonist is having an opium-induced hallucination of his younger self and essentially apologizing that he's made so many mistakes in his life and doesn't see a way out of them. It's a really powerful moment because this character has been insufferably (and undeservedly) arrogant throughout the entire story and he's finally been driven to an absolute low point where he's forced to acknowledge what a disaster he's created. It does all sound interesting and, as I said, I'm not opposed to hearing the rest of the story... there's just an awful lot of it, so it's a bit intimidating to look at. NBIceman posted... Short-Haired Tornado isn't even close to my favorite FtM song (that'd easily go to Greener Grass, which I didn't nominate because I was limiting myself to one super long offering) Oooh, haven't listened to it yet, but skimming the lyrics that one looks like it has some potential... will have to try listening to it either later tonight or tomorrow. --- M.U.G.E.N.
