It doesn't seem to have arms, how could it climb out of the grave? Speaking of, when somebody is hanged by a third party -- executioner, murderer, lynch mob, whatever -- the victim's arms would be tied behind their back to prevent them from trying to undo the noose. The absence of that further dispels the ridiculous idea that it could be a lynch victim.

You can see part of its right hand in the split of the cuff. You can also make out the darker area of the sleeve that matches the darker area of the chest where the torso is.
