Jokes aside the fandom's opinion of FE6 has been rising a fuckton recently. I'd argue that other than Sacred Stones it might be the game in the best position in the fandom right now.

I don't think FE6 was ever really disliked. It is a Japanese only game so the people who play it will skew towards being more hardcore and I don't think they will dislike what they get.
That's a poll taken of the Fire Emblem subreddit itself. You're not going to get much more hardcore than that, and Binding Blade didn't even make the top half of a poll type that weights against low playrate.
Well, I do remember that poll. Subreddit regulars generally like FE6 a lot more than lurkers do. I also suggest this poll also be run on the Serenes Forest forum ---
