Sorry, meant to reply to this last night but it was a busy evening. I had heard of it, but none of the specifics; I knew it was popular, starred humans, did not feature robots, and was sad. Suffice to say, that minuscule information had no impact on my enjoyment or interpretation of the video. ==================================================== 18: Song Name: Hunnybee Song Origin: Unknown Mortal Orchestra Song Link: Nominator: mcflubbin (2/15) I hated this song the first time I listened to it. I couldn't make out a single complete line he was singing, the chorus repeated too often, and the video was designed to be incredibly stressful. It wasn't until the second listen, armed with a copy of the lyrics and the knowledge that no one was going to die*, that I could even try to enjoy the song. It ultimately turned out to be quite catchy and bittersweet in the best possible way, but if I only counted first impressions, this would have wound up in the bottom 10. *One commentor's girlfriend believes that hunnybee does die in the video; the tree branch falling symbolizing tragedy. I don't agree with that, but it's probably a good thing I didn't read that comment until after I already liked the song. </.< [FINAL NOTES: Huh. I really didn't expect this whole "star targets another victim as soon as someone dies" bit to be a running gag, but it seems to be happening a lot.
