To those who also watched Revue Starlight: Is it just me, or does MayaKuro feel like a yaoi pairing disguised as a yuri pairing? It's fairly obvious who's the "girlier" of the two is (Karen compared to Hikari, Kaoruko compared to Futaba, Junna compared to Nana) in each of the other yuri pairings in Revue Starlight. But with Maya and Claudine, it feels like they're both equally feminine, but also pretty equal in their "prince-like" charm as well. It's strange, but for those two, that kind-of-sort-of-masculine vibe seems to work. I dunno. Maybe I've been watching too much Utena lately and all of the shirtless Toga/Akio scenes are messing with my brain.
