When Sears Canada closed down, there were a number of stories of people finding that sale items had new, higher price stickers placed over the old ones so that the alleged discount just brought the price back down to what it was originally. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they inflated their mattress prices a bit before applying that 50% discount. --- This is my signature.
