But this was an early episode fight against another random, no big deal enemy. If this is how they deal with these guys, I can't wait to see how badass the later fights go. You have no idea. Seriously. I'm just going to say that episodes 15-22 of Hugtto Precure might be the best 8-episode stretch in any anime I've ever seen. It gets that damn good. After that, it has kind of a "third cour lull" between the major mid-season moment and when they build towards the final battle, just like the majority of Precure series do. Hugtto doesn't escape this, and episodes 26-35 are fairly weak compared to the rest of the series, but still enjoyable. Episode 37 airs tomorrow, and shit just went totally crazy last week, so it's going to be full-throttle awesomeness the rest of the way.
