Eh, his was the one that makes most sense. Cause he's unstable and was basically a killer already when he was a kid. He's also the only FBI person that seems to want to be there and part of it. I just can't believe the agents would have this thing held over them yet not try to get out of it.

Really? That one makes sense? Not how he got an insurance company to deny Agent Nadeem's sister-in-law's medical coverage to make him vulnerable to bribery? Because that both seems more logical and clever. He saw a potential pressure point and he found a way to exploit it. Granted, that plan went a little sideways but framing Nadeem for murder was also a clever ploy and, as soon as they walked in there, I realized it had to be a set-up

How can it not? It makes more sense to manipulate someone who has a chance of actually willfully doing things for you than to have people against it.

I'm not trying to say the others aren't clever.

Things like blackmail and extortion are pretty reliable ways of manipulating people into doing stuff for you. Relying on somebody who's unhinged is going to be riskier, something that they acknowledge many times throughout the show.

Vanessa really intrigues me. I want to know her backstory. Why she's alright with the things Fisk does and why she fits into the role of basically being a queen so easily.

Her character development always felt a little flaky. She gets into it a little too quickly early on. She's also far less tactical than Fisk and weirdly overconfident.
