Okay I'm interested, why this reaction? I watched both of those shows when they aired on toonami. If it wasn't for them airing on toonami, I never would have stuck with watching them on my own. In a nutshell, they both bored me to tears. Samurai Champloo made me think I was watching the Pokemon anime. Every episode started with them dragging their asses to the next town, complaining about being starving, where they then meet the character and villain of the week. Rinse repeat. Just like Pokemon, back when I watched it as a kid. Michitrash and Hatchet.... lol. Ugliest, trashiest characters I've seen in an anime and plot that puts me to sleep. I'm a fan of chill, relaxing, comfy shows.
