Minor Updates Threw Civilization Phaze III on for background music while I was working on things today. Not the best way to experience it, I know, but I needed something and figured it would work well enough. Didn't get through all of it, but from what I heard, the album seems pleasant enough. "Get A Life" was so good that I had to drop everything I was doing and devote my full attention to the song; everything else was fine, there was never a point of "I don't want to listen to this", but also nothing else so amazing that it actively distracted me from my work. I do plan on giving it a more...detailed listen eventually, along with the other Zappa works mentioned, though I'll be busy for at least a few days. "Number City" has been getting a lot of play from me the past few days. Probably had that ranked a bit too low, should have had it somewhere in the top 10. Consider anything related to Kevin Barnes and his band, of Montreal, off the list. I'm done with him and actively wish to not discuss that topic any further. The nice part about being done with someone is not having to waste the energy.
