| streamofthesky 11/10/18 2:57:06 AM #5: | 2/10 I didn't give it 1/10 out of respect for the original Dragon Ball, which was decent. But everything after is complete shit and is the stuff that the series is known for. Even worse, DBZ was SO MANY people's first experience w/ anime. Which means there's a ton of annoying nostalgia goggle-blinded fools who think it's the best thing ever, and...it's also kind of amazing how many people I've met who said "anime sucks" and when I ask what anime they've seen to draw that conclusion, 90% of the time the answer is simply "Dragon Ball Z." Which...I can understand how that one series as a first impression would sour an entire medium of entertainment to somebody, but it still sucks thinking about how many people w/ good taste have probably been turned off of anime by the one freaking show. ...
