I feel like this will probably have a really big start, flounder comparatively for a while after the hype dies down, and then have a decent user base once mods are a thing. I honestly feel like that is their planned business model with how bare bones everything has been shown to be so far. You really think there's gonna be mods like other games? They have outfits and paint for your power armor in the cash shop, so letting people change their appearance even just player side will go against that business model. Same with any new weapons or armor or even camp items. At best they'll allow some "camp simplification" system to make building them easier on PC. See Skyrim. Ppl still buy the stupid armor packs and stuff, even thought there are plenty of free mods.
