Garden of Delete

I very much enjoyed the album. Few notes I can recall:

I like the opening to Ezra, with the music cutting in and out. The part starting at around the 25 second mark is amazing...until we get to the vocalization at around the 38 second mark. I don't like that voice sample and it appears so often on this track that it really drags it down; I love all the sections without that specific voice though.

When I look at "Sticky Drama", the phrase "best song on the album" comes to mind, though I can't recall why... *goes back to listen again*

I don't know how to put it, but something about the beat and vocal elements make this feel like a mainstream song that was heavily edited and distorted? There are points where I feel like I hear a traditional pop song in the background, but it's buried under the static and distortions. It is a very pleasing effect. It loses that near the end, becoming a bit too chaotic... but then I like the chaos anyway, so I have no intention of holding that against the song.

Mutant Standard is just too long. It takes it a bit too long to get going and then it feels like the song never ends; I know there were parts of it that I liked, but I think it was probably the low point of the album for me.

Child of Rage... I like this. It's up there with Sticky Drama for best song.

Animals... if you could remove that distorted voice or whatever, this would easily be one of my favorite songs of all times. The purely instrumental portions, just the computerized instruments and the static, are heavenly and purrfect..... but that high-pitched vocalization isn't quite working for me, which hurts it somewhat. Still great, but not as amazing as I may have wanted it to be.

Also that cat pun feels weird even to me, but parts of that song made me feel like purring, which is a new experience so here we are.

Remaining tracks were also good; I can't recall any other really stand out tracks, but I didn't have any complaints about any of them and was quite sad when the album ended as I wanted it to keep going. Would like more from this artist and plan on listening to this album again. (Actually listening to some of it again right now; I didn't recall anything specific about Freaky Eyes, but I'm rather enjoying it now--this mellow synthesized portion in the middle of the song that seems peaceful and nice before fading into a static-y screeching noise... oh I love that part of this track. It just has some problems of being in direct comparison to so many other songs I like.)

Gaku Sano is unfortunately not in the movie, but Gaim is. It was an ok movie.

I refuse to believe any film with a title that convoluted and flying Pac-Man viruses is anything other than amazing.
