#62:

Battle Cry: I didn't know what to expect from new Hanson music and I was rather worried with the credits listing multiple symphony orchestras, but this is actually good? Surprisingly so. I just can't decide if the song is overly religious or if I'm reading too far into it:

And every time you fall face down in the dirt
I never will be far
Don't be afraid

...

I've got a battle cry, so you can follow me
Even in darkness I'll never leave your side

Those lines in particular remind me of other Jesus related things; not that that's exactly a bad thing, I gave really high marks to Gethsemane, I'm just not sure I'm reading these things correctly.

Seven Rings in Hand (Fairytales in Trance): I'm pretty sure I mentioned my love for the vocal Sonic songs at least once at the last topic, so this feels a bit like cheating... going to try The Protomen and The Chipettes next? </.<

Interestingly enough, I actually hadn't heard this one before. I listen to the original often enough, but I guess I've never paid enough attention to The Black Knight's soundtrack to find this version of it... this is a truly wondrous find and I can't thank you enough for it.

Unfortunately, the reaction I have to it and the memories it conjures up, makes it rather difficult to fairly judge any song after it--it's why I had to take a day off and then listen to all the other songs again without this one so completely overshadowing them. In a sense, it's like "Graves" by Caligula's Horse--I truly enjoy it, but I need a little break from music after the experience.

A Dedication to...Everyone: I'm not sure I've even heard of Fragile Dreams before, but the song is quite nice. Game seems interesting enough, but from the reviews I've read, I doubt I'd be a fan? Dunno, haven't really looked up that much about it.

Keep Alive: Between this and "Blue Skies (Infinity Remix)", I'm starting to think I may just like Ace Combat music.

Lightning Flame Dragon Roaring: Celtic Metal, 'ey? I should look into that later. I hear good things about "Antti Martikainen " (which is to say that name popped up in the comment that said this song was Celtic Metal), so I may try searching for a song related to that tomorrow.

Time Bomb: Never heard of this wrestler (again, my knowledge of non-WWE/WCW wrestlers is extremely limited), but all the comments about him make him sound amazing.

...though possibly too self-destructive...

Song is neat! Far more chaotic than anything else in this batch, which helps it stand out.
