Slowly working my way through the assorted artists list... it's harder to keep focus without any specific songs or albums, but I'm listening to some things. Went with Sufjan Stevens' Illinoise album today... or at least the first two or three songs on it.

Not to diminish his talents, and I still highly enjoy Futile Devices and The Predatory Wasp of the Palisades is Out to Get Us (I only had Futile Devices in 42nd place? Should be higher than that...), but I really do not like listening to a bunch of his songs in succession.

Great artist, very talented, very complicated work, but I find a little of him goes a long way. I'll...try to look into his other more popular songs in the future, but no more than one song per day at most, any more than that is just too much for me.



Wanted more music like bunbleman, so I went back to that "eerik inpuj sound" page at bandcamp and clicked the first album that interested me to see what I'd wind up with: What you hear is what you deserve by kaneel.

...I don't know why, honestly. Listened to it three times tonight, so I can safely say I like it? So long as there are absolutely no follow up questions or expectations of explanations.
