red sox 777 12/05/18 3:16:25 PM #168:	Maybe the answer is to stop having lame duck sessions. Just have the newly elected people take office immediately, instead of waiting until January. Elections always have consequences, but it makes more sense for the 2018 election to matter in December 2018 than the 2014 election (where Walker was reelected), which is still controlling now.
