Write-Up:
So... we are more than 100 songs down on the 70's list and I gotta be honest. We are no where near the 70's songs that I would actually call favorites. A lot of the songs we've seen so far have been more or less samples of the decade simply pulled from top play lists and whatnot to flesh out this ranking. I'm actually not sure even if I had a few years to research and listen that I'd find a full 260 item list of 70's songs that I could call "favorite". That said, I'm surprised that everyone's 70's nominations haven't been wiped out by now. This song is ok for what it's worth. The only notable thing I can say about it though is it was reportedly the last song recorded by the Doors and the final song to be released as a single in Jim Morrison's lifetime and even entered the Billboard Top 100 the same week that he had died. The song made it into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2009 and was one of the first downloadable songs available for Rock Band 3 when that was released.
