Write-Up:
Oh man. Sorry Johnbobb. That's 2 in a row of your final 4 nominations leaving you with just 2 left to go. There are multiple segments of this song that I think are ok but as a whole it just kinda sits at mediocre for me. The guitar rhythm is something that I think I could emulate because it seems simple enough. The song is a story about a woman stuck in a small town where she never seemed to get away from. Years later she sees someone she knew who had left the town and returned and kind of fantasizes what her life would have been like if she had left... or so that is my basic understanding of it. Eddie Vedder had actually written most of this song while in an outhouse believe it or not. He liked the acoustics of his guitar and sound of his voice in the small space and ran with it so if anyone thinks this is a s***ty song they technically wouldn't be far off lol.
