Nothing is 100% and a few big major successes may not counter the norm. 2) Part of this norm is that some of those big successes were almost willed to be so because they were the big tentpoles you "had" to see while other works don't get the same push. A black lead didn't push Pacific Rim Uprising to be profitable in America. The latest Robin Hood was fairly multi-ethnic in background cast and race swapped Little Jon, and it bombed. --- ...
