That movie was so exceedingly dull I have to assume that passionate defense of it has more to do with personal pride than any sort of cinematic merit. a lot of it has to do with the aforementioned russian bots that just wanted to stir shit and made a bunch of fake insufferable anti-TLJ personalities trigger fans so that fans then have to backlash against them only that anti-TLJ lot doesn't actually exist to any significant degree since they were largely manufactured bots to begin with, so the TLJ defence force is all geared up against a nonexistent enemy they view as its critics kinda like the Bernie Bros, they could annoy me too but then it turned out a lot of that noise were russian bots and not actual Bernie supporters --- https://imgtc.com/i/1LkkaGU.jpg somethin somethin hung somethin horse somethin ...
