Write-Up: It's been almost a full 3 points since the last Nu Metal song has dropped so the genre seems to be doing better than most. I do prefer Nu Metal nowadays but it has to be the right kind of Nu Metal tbh. This song really presented itself in 2003 as it was blasted across many of the rock stations I listened to at the time. I was working at a Truss factory which was fairly decent factory labor and they used to blast a Mainstream Rock station across the overhead P.A. system which actually motivated most of the workers. This gem here must have played once every hour it seemed for real. I heard it so much in fact that I now cringe at the sound of the lead singers voice so I'm sure you can imagine having to hear this again is not so much of a treat. Despite my disinterest in the piercing qualities of Amy Lee's voice, the band does have a unique sound. I'm not sure why exactly but it took the band nearly 8 years to release their first album after they formed in 1995. This was their first hit single from their debut album if I recall correctly. ====================================
