Write-Up:
Oh boy. This song brings lots of sad memories that aren't so much as sad as they are just really pointless times in my life. I was a kid and traveling along in the backseat of a car with a reckless driver metaphorically in life and it was always hard to tell when the car was going to run over some housepet or slam headlong into a tree. The older I get in life though the more I wonder if I was responsible for not hiding those metaphorical keys to the car and that things could have been different between my mother and I but what could I do honestly?... I was just a kid. Anyway, this song seemed to always be playing in the background in those saddest times in my life. It really is the perfect type of melancholic song for many sad situations though, wouldn't you agree? Oddly enough, it was never a #1 hit but it has seen similar success appearing in a multitude of other media such as tv shows, movies and even Budweiser commercials. The song has enough popularity that Stevie Nicks recorded 7 different versions from different events that are all available commercially or maybe even on youtube (I haven't confirmed this but it's likely).
