| I_Abibde 05/06/19 5:37:18 PM #32: | The .hack franchise can be intimidating, since it was launched as a multimedia effort involving anime, books, games, manga, etc., but I recommend watching SIGN as the entry point, though it is not technically the beginning (because that spot belongs to the .hack//A.I. Buster novels, long out of print). YoukaiSlayer posted... And yet no one cares about .hack//sign. Because of how old it is. I mean, .hack started being a thing back in 2001, and that is ancient by modern anime and JRPG standards, a whole decade before SAO. ... It really was way ahead of its time, and I get the feeling it's a bit too cerebral for today's crop of isekai / trapped-in-a-game fans. Bulbasaur posted... it's just persona 4.
