Like I felt a game hasn't understood the connective tissue between people this well since Dragon Quest V. The emotional moments are just so impactful and land on you so hard because they build up the relationships and the game just gets it. Veronica's death really hit me because she was so sassy and then was like "hold my beer" so when we got to do the remix and we were able to win the day I pretty much just marked the fuck out and was super hyped. I am not to the dark one yet but the post game has just been absolutely enthralling and clearly a love letter to fans of the series. Still sorting out a ranking, but it is high up there for sure.
