The movie itself was terrible and only did well because 1. It's a fucking Marvel movie. 2. It's easy for a movie to do well when it's the only thing showing in multiple theaters. I was planning on seeing HTTYD 3 that weekend and couldn't because all the theaters in my area were only showing Captain Marvel and 3. Was deceptively marketed as a lead up to Endgame when that was the furthest thing from the truth. Nothing in her movie actually pertains to Endgame.
