and when i say nobody recorded it i mean viewers watching at home

certainly the people running the network had copies of the show they played but who knows what happened to those since chiller's demise

Then it's not a piece of lost media. F.W. Murnau's 4 Devils is a piece of lost media. No known print of it exists. There are hundreds of films and TV shows that are sitting in archives somewhere that haven't been released on home media. Doesn't mean they're lost.

considering nobody can ever watch this again it might as well be lost...unless you can track down people who worked for the chiller network and confronted them about this(The People who worked on darkrealm aren't exactly easy to get ahold of either)

it's very unlikely You'd find the episodes

and when you have to go down some rabbit hole of investigations just for some tv episodes it's on some level of lost media

Let's see, Chiller was owned NBC, whoever the fuck those guys are. How are you supposed to contact a bunch of nobodies that can't even come up with a complete name for their company!? NBC? What the fuck even is that? Now every single piece of media touched by them is lost to the ages and nobody will ever be able to watch them again.

just because something is lost media doesn't mean "there's nothing left of it" it could simply mean it's extremely hard to get a hold of and episodes to this short lived horror series are just that

Exactly. Have you seen the media room at that back alley dump of NBC? Nothing but tapes strewn about anywhere, and that's if you're lucky enough to even find an address for their fly by night operation. Every day they just reach into the pile and air whatever they happen to grab. Good luck if you ever need them to locate something specific. They lost everything and it's all gone forever.
