Topic 2 - Post 138Luis Sera puts suspicion on Benjamin and defends TomWell yeah, that's what I'm getting at in essence. You can have a fixation on SK's. Sure, whatever. But the justification was unnatural.

Other than that, I didn't like Ben immediately jumping on Tom for his 21 questions post. Like, I expect Tom to open with fluffy stuff like that, and it's very easy to safely criticise. Ben seemed a little too eager to jump down his throat over it though.Topic 3 - Post 169Luis Sera puts suspicion on TheSultanofSlam for voting CorrikIs this the extent of your reasoning? I ask because you're still voting for him despite your interest in him apparently waning later on the exact same page.Topic 4 - Post 82Luis Sera puts suspicion on CamarijaQuoting this post as the most egregious recent example, but this has been going on for a while now - what are you trying to get out of this? On the surface it's like you're shouting 'bomb' in an airport and I don't get if you're trying to be too coy for your own good.Topic 4 - Post 111Luis Sera questions CamarijaHey, Camarija. Don't ignore me, please. I asked you a question in post #82 of this topic. How has your play been conducive for scumhunting?Topic 4 - Post 131Luis sera questions CamarijaOk, you may have answered this elsewhere that I overlooked, so if so please answer again for my benefit - what was your rationale for bringing up this 'lost wolf'? This came up before seriously attracting Corrik's attention so it shouldn't be coloured by him at all.Topic 4 - Post 303Luis Sera ignores my questionActually I was the Joker. I helped get the Batman (red13n) lynched.Topic 4 - Post 310Luis Sera soft defends Lopen, and soft attacks SBellI thought SBell's reasoning for his vote on Lopen was terrible, but other than that nothing's struck me as out of character for him.Topic 4 - Post 313Luis Sera finally answers Camarija after blatantly ignoring himI have no idea who/what you're referring to. No I'm not.Topic 4 - Post 357Luis Sera talks to HbthebattleLuis_Sera89 posted...
I rarely look at the quantity of someone's votes when building an impression of them. Players who tend to throw their vote around a lot, or like to join in on dogpiling someone are often the same from game to game. It's a personality thing rather than alignment.

To me, it also suggests that a player has little confidence in their own reads, which is a strong sign of scum because scum don't have reads at all: their "reads" are flimsy and misleading because they aren't based on analysis of the game but instead knowledge. Hopping on every post that says someone is scummy with a vote suggests that the hopper is fishing for which player would be the least resistant to being mislynched.

This is naive. I've known plenty of good scum players be able to dissociate themselves from their role when reading through and pick at flaws where they see them. If a player has little confidence in their reads it's usually because that's actually the case.
