All of the base Mustangs I've rented with the 2.3L EcoBoost have gotten me 30 MPGs on the highway. If you drive it like a maniac, then MPG suffers as it does for any other car.

I see something like this but Teslas look normal and many hybrid model vehicles look identical to their non-hybrid counterparts.

A Tesla to me is like if Whirlpool or Kenmore decided to build a car. Literally a toaster or washing machine on wheels. You literally plug it in. I see these things on the road and just laugh.

No quality. No grille. No engine. I find it comical that the person who can afford to spend $50K or more on these things actually cares about fuel efficiency. If gas mileage bothers you that much, then get a Corolla.

"No engine" - it doesn't really need one ... Teslas have broken many performance records for production cars. And I don't see why "plugging it in" is a laughable thing...
