This topic is reminding me that the market for RC45s is softening just a little and in a few years I'll be looking for one seriously.

Its also reminding me that I really need to pick up an xr650.
And maybe another sportbike. Can never have too many.

you ever been in an accident?

Yes. As I already posted. I was about a month in and had a 15 year old with her learners turn her vw beetle left infront of me. I went over her hood, landed on the left side of my face/head, skidded a bit and my bike ended up on top of my legs somehow.

I lost consciousness instantly because I was wearing a less than stellar helmet at the time (ironically, I was going to pick up a new, much higher quality helmet when this happened).

I proceeded to rapidly gain and lose consciousness over the course of the next half hour. For a full day I had no memory beyond "what happened to my bike?". Apparently I asked that question over 100 times before I got to a hospital, and then every 20 minutes when I was woken up during the night.

I have no memory of the accident, this is all third hand. Infact, I have no memory of the month of June 2010 whatsoever. I don't even remember getting my next motorcycle a week later and literally riding it home. There are pictures of it that I didn't know were taken by me.

Am I scared? No. Not one bit. Been riding since without incident. I've ridden through rain, loose gravel for miles, mud, hail, literal blizzards (with proof).

Nothing to be scared of. Git gud
