Putting aside some extreme cases like the death threats, I refuse to admit our reaction was "an abomination"
There isn't a single fanbase that was willing to eat shit so much for years and be quiet about it like the Pokemon fanbase
We were willing to let everything slide, every single feature removed, we might have complained a little but nothing made people lose their heads, even though some of the things were really annoying

No Battle Frontier, no following Pokemon, no post game, shitty animations (like the Captain using Cut in Let's Go), Let's Go having only 153 Pokemon, ORAS having no new Mega besides those confirmed before release, no new Alola forms in USUM, spoiling games before they even come out etc etc etc
We are taking a lot of shit and we are ok with this
In fact I don't even care about the infamous "Wild Area Tree" that people are making fun about, I think Sword and Shield looks fine in some places
But removing all the Pokemon is killing the entire staple of the main games, a meltdown is very much needed and expected

I want to see YOUR reaction if in the next Smash game it will be confirmed at least half of the characters are not making a return, and while a lot of them are subpar trash, a lot of fan-favorites will get "snapped" as well
