Yeah, there's an agreed upon method of diagnosing (if X number of symptoms persist for more than Y period of time)
Yeah, there's been an agreement on what the proper treatment is (allowing them to transition socially, taking hormones, getting other treatments they might need as it relates to addressing their dysphoria such as hair removal, surgery, etc.)
There's decades of research on short term and long term effects, especially since the estrogen supplements most of us are on is the exact same as what post menopausal cis women take, and there was a paper recently in Europe tracking a few hundred subjects who had started puberty blockers and hrt in their teens as opposed to starting hrt after first puberty has finished
