There was a tell on the original Playstation where the disc started loading and if you stopped on a platform when that happened you wouldn't fall to the bottom. I suppose you lose that on a digital version. I'm playing on the PS1. I didn't use any tricks, though. --- Not changing this sig until I decide to change this sig.
