I will definitely echo that comparing an inflation adjusted Gone With the Wind is pointless because of the way the medium has changed - those numbers are effectively impossible today. Pre-home video films in general shouldn't really be compared to modern films.

But yes it is now official, 2.7902 billion, beating Avatar's 2.7897. That Avatar figure has also been updated to include minor rereleases since, too. It also looks like Endgame will just cross 2.8 billion which is massive. Its US gross will also pass Wolf Warrior 2's Chinese gross tomorrow to become the second highest grossing film in a single territory.

What's also remarkable is that Endgame did this without being the highest grossing movie in any of the top ten markets (USA, China, India, Japan, UK, South Korea, France, Germany, Russia, Australia) though it did top the #11, Brazil. Avatar and Titanic both topped a majority of those. Also now the top grossing film is different for all of those except for the US and the UK, which could change with Bond 25.
