If you are heads up and your opponent is in position to show first shouldn't you have the option to muck rather than reveal your losing hand? In which case I would think that it wouldn't be recorded to the hand log. Or at least shouldn't be, imo.
It wouldn't be recorded to the log for a certain amount of hands depending on the format. He is talking about the winning hand he mucked to. Yeah, they show. It is how you knew to muck. Sites may show this instantaneously but you are supposed to flip them in order of betting.
