So knowing little about competitive poker, how common is it that people who jump out to decent to large chip leads early cruise to top-1/5/10/etc places? Top 5/10 is extremely far into the game and anything can happen to get there. I think if you get a decent lead early and "tread water" you can def get really far though. But from what I've seen once you do end up in the top 10, the stacks tend to stay relatively constant since everyone is playing so defensively. Still anything can happen though.
