I was being sarcastic because how many other people have that exact same degree in D.C.? So now you're going to have the exact same degree as thousands of other people who have the same idea as you do (but without the fraudulent part).

You're going to get lost in the masses with nothing to differentiate yourself from them. Not all politicians go for political science by the way. Humanities is popular. Law is another.
