It'll be reversed back soon enough, especially for classification purposes. People will want to know what their kids have, not just "autism" it's not just "autism", it's "autism spectrum disorder". the "spectrum" implies a set of symptoms that don't apply unilaterally to everyone. not really that hard tbh --- i've got one foot in the darkness and the other one in a hello kitty roller skate ...
