Calwings 08/11/19 3:54:23 PM #181:	A few days ago, I learned about an anime franchise that I hadn't heard of before, but it really caught my interest: the WIXOSS franchise. https://myanimelist.net/anime/22273/Selector_Infected_WIXOSS The best description I heard about the franchise was "Madoka Magica but with card games" and that actually sounds awesome to me. That, plus the fact that it has four seasons (which means it has to be popular and doing well to make it that far) made me want to check it out. So I watched the first three episodes of Selector Infected WIXOSS (the first season) last night and three more today... and they weren't kidding with that Madoka comparison. I've already seen one girl completely break down emotionally, another girl completely succumb to blind rage, and one other girl (not one from the main cast though) just straight-up fucking die due to involvement in the Selector battles. So far, this show is about 20% cuteness, 20% "batoru! batoru!" and 60% pain and suffering.
