lol learning to not compare every fire emblem game to 7 is a tough road to follow. I imagine it's because the people who started with it probably played it the most times, and played the most modes.

It's funny because in this year of playing nothing but fire emblem I've noticed most games have two trajectories either it starts fun and multiple playthroughs make you realize how shallow it ultimately is (three houses) or it starts bad and multiple playthroughs let you see how amazingly deep it is (conquest)

Fire Emblem 7 is a game that starts pretty darn good and keeps getting better with each playthrough, if you didn't play it multiple times you wouldn't even notice some of the side stories like Renault's past or Bartre learning to eat books or how Bartre and Karla met or the whole Kishuna situation that I still don't have all the details of even after playing it for 20 years
