The whole point is that Edelgard is nothing but a power hungry tyrant, CR can fool someone who hasn't played the other routes that she's a freedom fighter (a freedom fighter who invades other nations) and that the church is run by a crazy dragon, but the big twist of the game is that the church isn't really evil and there's no justification for Edelgard's actions.The only thing that really bothers me is that CR ends with a "and Edelgard took care of TWSID and everything was fine" when at the end of CR she's still clearly being manipulated by them ---
