Either you don't end up with the date, you end up going somewhere free, or they pay. Works for anyone. When I was doing the online dating thing, I met one who insisted I pay for everything. She made it very clear that she was to spend no money of her own, I was to pick her up at her chosen time and her place, as well as bring a gift. We never went on a date. I was not going to play by her rules, especially when she got mad when I suggested we meet halfway because I didn't want be driving an hour and a half. She sent me nasty messages for a couple days, calling me a cheap bastard and hoped I would never get laid for the rest of my life Doesn't sound like you missed out on much. --- This is my signature.
