I frequently get up and walk out of my office to talk with coworkers, which surely takes more time and energy than swiveling my chair around. I'm sure it takes longer too, and I guess you could argue that it's lowering my productivity by wasting time, but if my productivity were being monitored to that extent that this would be considered wasting time, I would really feel like a wage slave.
