The guy ran off with his helmet after picking him up by the helmet and taking him back down to the ground by the helmet all while ripping it off. Any player in that situation would have reacted the same way, and players who've been involved in far less have run after the guy they have beef with without their helmets being weaponized against their unprotected head.

I'm not going to speculate for literally no reason that Rudolph was going to rip at Garrett's helmet afterward when he only got one hand around the chest area of the jersey and the other on the shoulder before getting hit in his face with his own helemet which he reacted to by throwing his hands up in the air. That's beyond silly.

Nothing Garrett did here was defensible, and Rudolph, physically anyway (not sure what he may have done verbally) was absolutely justified in reacting the way he did.
