The amount of people who actually have their hobby as their job is a tiny, tiny, microscopic percentage of the population. But I enjoy being able to buy things I do enjoy so I work. Not only that, but I know some people who started to hate their hobby once it became work. Because it doesnt seem as fun anymore.
