| TheMikh 01/16/20 9:25:10 PM #27: | I don't think Obama was to blame, but there was a bit of a cultural ecosystem revolving around his administration that was better geared to urban coastals, which might have alienated conservative America. While I'm hesitant to discount racism towards him, I believe it's slightly overstated, if you'll keep in mind that certain swing states that consolidated his election also went to Trump, and that Cain polled quite well with Republicans before his campaign got tactical nuked by harassment allegations, as did Carson before Trump and Cruz - both conservative rockstars during the Obama era - really picked up steam. Anyhow, at the end of the day I believe Clinton and the unapologetic corruption of her machine was most to blame for Trump's presidency. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
