The "free" games though Microsoft started that with Xbox Live. Plus you get 4 free games a month with Xbox compared to the 2 free games with Playstation.

PS+ did it first on the PS3 because they didn't charge for online play yet.

PlayStation has a billion dead IPs while Microsoft is actively creating new ones and Nintendo is releasing hit games with their existing ones. I don't want to say that the PS5 is gonna be a repeat of the PS3 because its too early to tell, but BOY does it feel like its setting up to be.

I really don't know what you think Microsoft and Sony are doing so differently. They both have a couple of IP they rely on and they both try the odd new one until they find a hit. If anything Sony have been significantly more successful than Microsoft than this as of late considering they've added The Last of Us, Horizon, Spider-man and Dreams to the repertoire. Microsoft haven't had a hit new IP for over a decade.

Sony literally haven't said anything about the PS5 other than some spec details, a logo and that they're waiting on the competition before announcing price. Like do you think Microsoft doesn't care what Sony prices the PS5?
