If you're a member of the "I work two jobs with no nearby grocery store so most of my calories are from gas-station tier food and McDs" class being vegan really cuts into your dietary options, especially in the protein field.

Yes, I've heard about the food desert problem in the US. So to add another argument that I'm fine with, veganism is clearly a fairly geographic or middle class privilege
