like yeah, it's hard, that's kinda how life is set up to be

I think the difference here is no matter how much you value yourself and your time, society is constructed in such a way that you literally have to work to be a part of it and reap its benefits.

There's no need to have kids, and anyone having them because they feel they're just supposed to probably isn't doing themselves or their kids any favors.
